A Madagascar Penguins own film?
It seems so as The Hollywood Reporter tells Dreamworks has bigger plans for these charaters after having starred their own TV series. The writers of Megamind (Alan J. Schoolcraft and Brent Simons) seem to be already attach of the project.
Although, as Animated Views points, the production of this film could depend on the success of the next Dreamworks cinema animated feature, Puss 'n Boots to be released on November,

More Concepts for NEWT
This stuff really looks great!
The German Pixar blog www.pixrblog.de has posted some new concepts of the film that Pixar was supposed to be working on.
Remember Pixar announced last year that their Newt project had been cancelled for legitimate reasons. And it was then when they sowed the first concepts of these lovely characters and environments.Fortunately here we have some more.
I think I will always believe that this was only a marketing tool and we will finally be able to watch Newt in the big screen.
